Plucking the String

Date: January 13, 2006
Genre: sexperimenting! heh

I never exactly meant to record this.  No, honestly.  The drum beat was (and still is--yes, I am going to use it again, neener) meant for another song entirely, but I was screwing around with the microphone and liked this so... well.  I obviously still have a bit to learn in terms of working to microphone, as I'm sure you'll hear all of the weird sounds and background noises... and there's still a little bit of a change between what my voice actually sounds like and what it sounds like after it's transfered to the computer, but... can't complain.  It sounds a hell of a lot better than it did, and now I can hear myself while I practice.
As for the subject matter... it should be no surprise that I prefer villains to heroes.  You needn't know anything else at this point...

Lyrics
What if I told you
What if you knew
Would it break your heart in two?

If I asked you
What would you say
When you knew that you were never close that way

I have no conscience
So I let it ride
Won't you be that fool
By my side

What would you tell me
If I made it clear
What would you tell me
Way out here

I have no conscience
So I let it ride
Won't you be that fool
By my side

You never had the rumors
You never had the curves in you
You never had the choice
Get over here, I guess you'll do
If you have to

I have no conscience
So I let it ride
Be that fool
By my side

By my side

I have no conscience
No refrain
What would I care
And what would you gain

I have no conscience
So I let it ride
Be the fool
By my side

What would you tell me
If I let you in
Would you mess it up
Or would it be kin

Oh, please
Oh, please

I have no conscience
So I let it ride
You know you'll be
By my side

You are the fool
You are the fool

What would you say
If you only knew
It could have been anyone but you

I guess you're here
You'll never know
What do you think
What are you thinking
Can't you see
Can't you feel
You're nothing to me
