Plucking the String

Date: August 4, 2005
Genre: ...apocalyptic..?

Two people who once knew each other pass again on roads to opposite places.  That's probably the best explanation I can give at the moment.  It's a story yet to be written.
That said... I apparently seriously screwed this up somehow.  Some parts skip noticeably, and the vocals aren't right at all.  I mean, it blends in as the song goes on, but (as usual) it worked a lot better on the recorder than it did when I transferred it over to WAV on the computer.  DAMN IT MUCHLY.  Ah well.  It still has that broken, end of the world feel to it.  Just moreso now...

Lyrics
I hear you come
I hear you come again
Where have you been
So far away

I hear you come
I hear you walk away again
Where have you been
Where are you gonna go

Where are you going
Are you strong?
Where are you going
Are you strong enough

Where have you been
Where do you walk away again
As if you could turn away

I can hear you walk away
Where do you think
You've got left to go

I'm here
Face the pain
I'm here
Face where we've been

I hear you coming
I hear you come again
Where have you been
So far away

I hear you come
I hear you walk away again
Where have you been
You haven't already gone

I'm here
Face the pain
I'm here
Face where we've been

I'm here

I hear you calling
I hear you walk away again
Where have you been
Where are you gonna go

But I know

I know

Face my pain
