Plucking the String

Date: February 28, 2006
Genre: wake up, dammit

It doesn't matter how much you try to help some people... they just won't be helped.  No big loss, I guess.  Just frustrating.
Yes, I played with the vocal part too much.  Again.  It's supposed to sound distorted and rough, but... not quite that rough.  Ah well, it was fun anyway.

Lyrics
Why don't you move?
Why don't you walk away?
Why don't you move?
Why don't you stand away?

If you're waiting for the hammer to fall
Then why don't you walk away?

Why don't you move?
Why don't you move?

If you're waiting for the other show to drop again
Why don't you move?
Why don't you move?

Why don't you walk away?
Why don't you walk away?
Why don't you move?
Why don't you move?

Why are you standing there?
Are you lookin' up?
Are you gonna watch it fall?
Why don't you move?
Why don't you move?
Why don't you walk away?
Why don't you move?

I can't watch this
I don't wanna see this
I don't wanna hear it
I don't wanna see it
I don't wanna say it

Something tells me you've been here before
I don't wanna see it
I don't wanna watch you
Stand under the fall

Why do you do it?
What sick cheap thrill is this?
Why are you standing there?
Why are you just standing there?
Why don't you walk away?

Why don't you walk away?

There's nothing more I can say
Nothing more I can say

Why don't you walk away?
